By Rail : If arriving by rail, Kottayam (112 kms) is the nearest railhead. This station is well connected to both Trivandrum and Kochi and other major cities of India.
By Road : If you are driving up from either Trivandrum or Kochi or Kottayam, the Kottayam-Kumily road makes an ideal choice of travel. If coming from Madurai, the Theni - Kumily route is recommended. From Munnar, the breathtaking drive along the cardamom hills is replete with forests, tea estates and cardamom estates. |
