MARARI BEACH HOMES are four self contained fishermen's cottages done up with a large veranda to relax, a bedroom, dressing room, toilet with hot and cold water and some have a furnished kitchen. The cottages are on the MARARI BEACH, just about an hour's drive from Cochin and 15 minutes from Alleppey Town. It is a very quite relaxing place with no crowds. White sandy beach with some fishing activity. Taxis, autorickshaws and bus available close by. Internet facility available within walking distance. Ideal place for people who enjoy cooking . Cook serves simple traditional cuisine . Minimum stay - three days. Tours to Alleppey, Fort Cochin, Krishnapuram Palace and Backwater cruises can be organised.
Each cottage is different :
The Tamarind House has an air conditioned bedroom with an anteroom for children and has a large veranda , a kitchen and bathroom.
The Papaya House has a bedroom with attached open to sky bathroom , a childrens room and a large veranda on classical pillars.
The Heritage wooden house has two bedrooms with a children's room, open to sky bathrooms and a veranda.
The fisherman's cottage has a bedroom, bathroom and a large veranda. The fisherman's cottage also has a smaller bedroom with an attached bathroom.

Marari Beach Homes gives you the option to cook yourself or order ethnic Kerala food, if you like served traditionally on plantain leaves. Only Keralan cuisine is available and fresh caught fish and vegetables are served. Fruits from the garden is a regular item at all meals. Cooking lessons can be organised. |
